The Hawai‘i Visitors & Convention Bureau launched the Member Hō‘ike in January 2021. Since then, past participants have shared their success in creating valuable partnerships after connecting through this initiative. We are excited to make these presentations available for your viewing.

What is Member Hō‘ike?

The Member Hō‘ike provides a platform for HVCB members to showcase what is new and exciting in their business. The goal is to familiarize HVCB and our membership ʻohana with members' products and services and provide updates on new offerings.     Yoga Floats

    Havaianas
    Presented by Brandon Lindley
    Highlights: Havaianas were created in Brazil in 1962 and inspired by the Japanese Zori sandal; a sandal with cloth straps and woven rice straw soles. Havaianas replaced the straw with premium Brazilian rubber, updated the design to look fashionable, and the rest is history! This is why the soles of Havaianas feature a rice grain print; one of the many design details that make Havaianas unique. Our slippers were christened with the name Havaianas (which means “Hawaiians” in Portugese) in honour of the glamourous holiday destination with endless summer vibes.
